(b) Quantification of the number of spines exhibiting strong SEP-GluR1 fluorescence after 10 min exposure to either HBS (control) or 25 mM TEA with and without Aβ treatment. The data were normalized against the number before 10 min exposure to either HBS or TEA with 100% indicating no change. Triple asterisks: p < 0.0005 comparing to the HBS control (Student's t-test).
