Voltage-dye recordings show that PAR1 activation depolarizes the dentate in hippocampal slices from wild type but not in PAR1-/- mice. D) Average traces of wild type and PAR1-/- dentate from regions of interest over the cell body layer show that wild type dentate exhibits significantly greater depolarization, compared to the PAR1-/- dentate (p < 0.05, t-test at 55 sec). The experiment was performed from two different mice respectively.
