Attenuated diurnal activity surges of Sept4Tg/+mice. (A) Diurnal oscillation of the locomotor activity in the home cage contained three peaks in Sept4+/+ mice during the dark phase, two of which were significantly attenuated in Sept4Tg/+ mice (*, p = 0.01, n = 9, 6). (B) An expansion of a time block during 7:00–8:00 in 5-min step shows that the significant difference in activity lasted up to 45 min after the onset of the light phase.
