AAV2-Cre-mediated IVMR expression in the striatum of Rosa26-IVMR mice. Mice were sacrificed 14 d after injection of AAV2-Cre virus. (a) IVMR expression shown by GFP immunostaining and in situ hybridization is present in Rosa26-IVMR mice, but not in Rosa26-IVMR mice without AAV2-Cre or in wild type mice with AAV2-Cre injection. AAV2-Cre virus also expresses GFP. (b) Human glycine receptor immunoreactivity (red) is located in NeuN-immunopositive (green) neurons in the striatum of Rosa26-IVMR mice.
