From: High expression of long intervening non-coding RNA OLMALINC in the human cortical white matter is associated with regulation of oligodendrocyte maturation

Figure 1

Genomic context splice of variants and genomic features of OLMALINC . Track 1 represents the chromosomal positioning of OLMALINC. Track 2 shows OLMALINC in genomic context. OLMALINC is located downstream of the gene stearoyl-CoA desaturase (delta-9-desaturase) (SCD) and up-stream of wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 8B (WNT8B). Track 3 is a schematic representation of the exon/intron structure of the OLMALINC-001, −002 and −003 isoforms as well as OLMALINC-AS. Track 4 is a schematic of the repeat elements that appears in this region of the genome including long terminal repeats LTR2, LTR7B and HERVH-int. A LTR 7B over laps with a large portion of the final exon of OLMALINC-002 and OLMALINC-003. Track 5 show the read alignment in the WM samples carried out by TopHat, demonstrating that the repeat elements have not artificially inflated the RNA-Seq fpkm values.
