Detected position is unstable and bouncing as indicated by an arrow. b These noises are removed by LED manipulation and image smoothing (see Section Image noise minimization for more details). Abrupt changes are not observed in both X and Y positions. Head directions are smoother than before even though they are not processed offline, such as, digital filtering
