A method to determine relative molar ratios of two proteins. To facilitate quantitative measurement of relative molar ratio of two proteins, A and B, an A-B dimer construct is generated and expressed in cells. The lysate from these cells and samples of interest are loaded onto gels, and blotted for A and B separately. Since the A-B dimer contains A and B at a 1:1 molar ratio, the ratio obtained from the dimers on two blots, dA / dB, serves as a calibrator for the ratio obtained from the sample, sA / sB
