Treatment of cells with 1 mM cpt-cAMP (b) or 1 mM cpt-cAMP + 10 nM PcTX1 (c) for 72-h causes a concurrent increase or decrease in Na+ peak current amplitude, respectively. d Summary I/V plot shows a significant increase in density of voltage gated Na+ current after 72-h treatment with 1 mM cpt-cAMP (**p < 0.01), which was largely abolished by PcTX1 (n = 12–14)
