Moesin is required for long-term memory. a. 24-h long-term memory was significantly impaired by elav-GAL4 mediated knockdown of Moesin throughout development (ANOVA, post-hoc Tukey’s HSD, **p < 0.01). b. Knockdown of Moesin in adulthood with elav-Gal4 led to a significant impairment in 24-h long-term memory (ANOVA, post-hoc Tukey’s HSD, **p < 0.01). c. Short-term memory tested one hour following a one-hour training session was not significantly different. d. Knockdown of Moesin in the adult mushroom body with MB247-GAL4 resulted in a significant impairment in long-term memory (ANOVA, post-hoc Tukey’s HSD, **p < 0.01) e. One hour short-term memory was not affected by knockdown of Moesin in the adult mushroom body. f.
