Distribution of KARs in the insular cortex from Fmr1 WT mice. Presynaptic marker synaptophysin, postsynaptic marker PSD95, NMDAR subunits GluN2B and GluN2A, KAR subunits GluK1 and GluK2/3 or synaptic protein Rab5 were analyzed by Western blot in the homogenates (H1, 10 μg), postnuclear supernatant (S1, 5 μg), nuclei and large debris pellet (P1, 10 μg), cytosomes (S2, 5 μg), crude synaptosomal membrane (P2, 5 μg), non-PSD (5 μg) or PSD (10 μg) fractions of the insular cortex in Fmr1 WT mice.
