The PDZ3 domain of PSD-95 and the tail region of KIF5A are required for the interaction. Full-length PSD-95 or truncated mutants with full-length KIF5A (a, c), and full-length KIF5A or truncated mutants with full-length PSD-95 (b, d) were transfected into HEK 293T cells.
