MR analysis of region-specific brain injury. a Brain damage was induced by stereotaxic injection of ATP (400 nmole) into the cortex or striatum. As described in Methods, changes in damage were chased using a 9.4 T MR apparatus for 15 d, at the indicated times after ATP injection.
