From: Identification of FMRP target mRNAs in the developmental brain: FMRP might coordinate Ras/MAPK, Wnt/β-catenin, and mTOR signaling during corticogenesis

Fig. 4

Validation of the 17 FMRP “core” target genes by RIP-qPCR and their expression in the WT and Fmr1 KO mice. a The RNAs from WT (n = 3) of the E15.5 mouse dorsal telencephalons were isolated and subjected to cDNA synthesis and RT-qPCR. All 17 FMRP “core” target genes were significantly enriched in the FMRP-IP compared with that of IgG-IP (n = 3). b The RNAs (n = 7 WT; n = 7 Fmr1 KO) from the E15.5 mouse dorsal telencephalon were isolated and subjected to cDNA synthesis and RT-qPCR. Nf1 and Ahi1 showed an increase and decrease in expression, respectively, in Fmr1 KO neocortex, compared to the WT. The Student’s t-test was used to test statistical significance (*p < 0.05, ***p < 0.0001). Error bars represent the standard error of the mean (SEM)
