Effects of vehicle and probiotics on the abundance of gut bacteria in antibiotic-treated mice. The alternation of three main bacterial species was assessed with genus-specific primers targeting the 16S rRNA genes of a Bifidobacterium, b Escherichia Coli and (C) Lactobacillus. To better visualize the change within each genus, the relative abundance of each group has been divided by the mean of relative abundance obtained in the Con group, which corresponds to the value 1. Results are presented as means ± s.e.m., 8 pieces of pellet were collected per group, n = 6 mice per group (one-way ANOVA). ***p < 0.001
