Fgf11 knockdown increases tyrosine phosphorylation of GSK3α and GSK3β, thereafter reducing CREB phosphorylation to decrease NPY expression. This results in a reduction of NPY projection into the TH neurons in the PVN, leading to increased TH expression. Consequently, TH induction elevates BAT thermogenesis, reducing body weight
