Levels of monoamines and metabolites, including dopamine (DA), 4-hydroxy-3- methoxyphenylacetic acid (HVA), 3 norepinephrine (NE), normetanephrine (NM), serotonin (5-HT) and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), were quantified by HPLC with electrochemical detection in prefrontal cortex (PFC), hippocampus (HIP), amygdala (AM) and striatum (STR) of GSK-3α KO (n = 9) and WT (n = 9) mice.
