From: TRPM7 inhibitor carvacrol protects brain from neonatal hypoxic-ischemic injury
Immunofluorescence assay of TRPM7 and cleaved caspase-3 expression in brain sections of HI mice. Triple immunofluorescence staining was employed for TRPM7, cleaved caspase-3 and NeuN in the penumbra of the injured hemisphere (ipsilateral) and in a similar region of the uninjured contralateral hemisphere 24 hours after HI. Representative images are shown. Green, blue and red fluorescence indicates NeuN, TRPM7 and cleaved caspase-3, respectively.
