Tat-HSP22 protein protects against changes to H2O2-induced mitochondrial membrane potential and cytochrome c release. HT-22 cells were pretreated with 5 μM of Tat-HSP22 or control HSP22 protein for 2 h and exposed to H2O2 (1 mM) for 20 min and 4 h, respectively. a Changes of mitochondrial membrane potential were measured using JC-1 assay kit.
