INI-0602 prevented HFD-induced obesity in mice. (a and b) Mice received intraperitoneal administrations of vehicle (V, n = 6, white squares with dashed line) or INI-0602 (Tx, n = 5, black circles with solid line) every other day for 28 days during a HFD. (a) Daily caloric intake and (b) daily changes in body weight are shown, starting from the day of the first injection (day 0). At the end of the 4-week study, we measured (c) bilateral epididymal white adipose tissue (eWAT) weight, (d) adiposity (based on computed tomography), and (e) body length (from snout to anus). Data are the means ± s.e.m. Statistical significance was determined with the Student’s t-test, for comparisons between the two groups at each time point. *P < 0.05.
